How to Launch Trees in a Popup Overlay

  • Updated
  • Many Zingtree customers like to use a button to launch a tree from their web site. Rather than embedding a tree into a page, you can include a button that launches a tree in a pop-up overlay.

    See a demonstration here.

    Here's how to make a pop-up overlay:

    1. Click the My Trees button at the top of the screen.
    2. Choose the tree to embed.
    3. Click Publishing and then select Publishing Links.
    4. Click Display as a Pop-up Overlay.
    5. Copy the default button code to your web site. IMPORTANT: There are two separate pieces of code needed.

Note: You can choose different button colors and button text via the Advanced options.
