If you use the Zingtree Create Ticket App in Zendesk, action is required before April 30, 2027 Featured
Zendesk is retiring API tokens and migrating to OAuth. After that date, API tokens will be permanently deactivated, which means any Zingtree Create Ticket App still using API token authentication will stop creating tickets. See details from Zendesk here.
What you need to do
If you're currently using the Zingtree Create Ticket App, you'll need to:
- Create a new OAuth Client in your Zendesk Admin Center under APIs > OAuth Clients
- Update your existing Zingtree app to use OAuth Client Credentials in place of your API token
The good news: updating your app credentials does not require any changes to your existing workflows. Once you've updated the app, everything continues working exactly as before.
Step-by-step instructions
Full instructions, including how to create your OAuth Client in Zendesk and update your Zingtree app settings, are available in our Help Center:
