How to Hide Nodes from Search Results

  • Updated

There may be times when you don't want a node ever to appear in a search result. You can hide specific nodes from all searches, or hide a node from agent searches or end-user searches.

To start:

  1. Open a Content Node in the editor
  2. Go to the bottom section named Advanced Options (Escalate, Search, Display and more).

Your search options appear as shown.

  • To hide a node from all search results, deselect the Show in search results checkbox.
  • To hide a node from just agent or end-user searches, pick one of the options to show search results to:
    • Everyone
    • Agents Only
    • Users Only
