How to Erase Variables and Delete Session Data

  • Updated

There are times where you may want to erase all variables collected during a session and start over. You can do this with the Zingtree Erase Variables stock webhook, So when a specific node is reached, this webhook will trigger and delete your variables.

You can set this up as follows:

  1. Edit the node that you want to trigger erasing variables.
  2. Open the Apps/Webhooks menu and click Add App.
  3. Select Webhook: Zingtree Erase Variables.

Note: This webhook will not erase any variables created automatically, like the tree_id, tree_name, or any location information (if set).

Erasing ALL Session Data History

You can entirely remove any trace of data collected by Zingtree by adding ALL to the Message Data field.
